Where you store fat the most on YOUR body and what it means. 

Today I wanted to discuss and explain that where the sites on the body where you store fat and what it means for your hormonal profile.

Essentially it’s broken down into 5 systems:

  • Gynoid – feminine hormones
  • Androgens – masculine hormones
  • Insulin – the hormone of fat storage and ageing
  • Toxicity
  • Recovery

Within each of the 5 systems is 3 body fat reading from different sites on your body:

  • For example insulin section represents
  • Inner shoulder blade fat
  • Belly fat
  • Lower back fat

I take the body fat reading from each site and I repeat for this for the 5 different systems. Remember each of those  5 systems has 3 different sites I take a body measurement from.

Once all the sites are taken I analyse and look for the biggest deviation. Then I prioritise with 1 system. I don’t often address more than 1 system. THERES ONLY 1 PRIORITY SYSTEM TO WORK WITH. After this a training protocol is assigned to you I then give you dietary exercise, and lifestyle advice to get you the results you want whether that’s weight loss, fat loss, or even injury rehabilitation.

Here are list of the locations you store fat and what they may mean:

  • Cheek and chin – an indication of general body fat
  • Shoulder blade fat  – carbohydrate consumption
  • Lower back fat – gut health
  • Hip fat – carb consumption
  • Outside of upper ribs – thyroid
  • Belly fat – high stress hormone levels
  • Thigh fat -zinc deficiency, bad lifestyle
  • Back of thigh fat – too many toxic estrogens in your body
  • Back of arms – androgens and testosterone

Here you can see on the image below that this person needs work on their masculine hormones through lifestyle and dietary protocols. The red represents the biggest deviation:

Then after a number of weeks, and a few more assessments you can see the changes in your body fat represented on the image below:

AND … The changes in the different sites of the body whether that’s the back of the arms, the belly, and the hips to name a few.
