Myself and Health Coach friend Tom Arundel decided we wanted to create a blog that offers you those healthy meal ideas not just to keep you healthy but also your family. We both wanted to come away from the pizza and chips or the chicken nuggets and chips. Additionally think about the bigger picture if you as the parent/adult are healthy you can then pass it on to your partner and children.

  1. Sweet potato wedges with Bolognese
  2. Sausage mash and broccoli ( use a stock or sauce to liking)
  3. Roast pepper frittata with mixed leaves
  4. Spelt pizza base with homemade tomato sauce cheese of choice, avocado, ham, and red onion Children can build their own pizza
  5. Chicken and mushroom risotto ( no cream )

Where the wind blows the tree grows.

Additional Points

  1. Source the best possible food quality ensuring the meat is organic or at least from a free range/grass fed source.
  2. Check out the resources below to find some of the products I have shared.
  3. Feel free to adapt or adjust any of the meals. We know some children and adults can be fussy sometimes.
  4. Source organic fruit and veg.
  5. When at home don’t eat different meals to your children. I once discussed this with a lady who was eating completely different things to the whole family because she was on a diet.  In it’s own right this is not healthy in the long run. Aim to be healthy together. I will always try to provide meal suggestions to clients that the whole family can adapt to. Tom Arundel will be looking deeper into this because he wants to work with families on their nutrition and health.
